Sapphires in Frozen hell
Added By: Faust Added On: 2010-05-30
I met the man through two of his students.. I only spent a couple of hours with him. The impression I received has been indelible in my life for over forty years.

I met his students in a road building camp during the winter in the Aksai Chin, They recommended the man to me then. I sat in the dark from afternoon to evening with him in his home back before he was married. He treated me very kindly. It was obvious he was an extraordinary men. It amused me that we sat and talked in total darkness, but then he didnt need any light..
I bought sapphires in the mountains and took young boys who were going to die up there and gave them to a Lama named Lozang. The road crews found the crystals while digging at high altitudes. They also died up there in extraordinary numbers.I saved about 60 children and Lozang bought land for an orphanage in the South. I gave him sapphires to pay for it. I have remembered Pieter all these years. He was a profound man and very unique.

It makes me sound good but . Im not.. But Pieter was.
