About
My beloved wife, Nowarat Wong Hua Li passed away unexpectedly on Jan 12, 2005 at the young age of 27, 5 months after giving birth to our daughter, Angelina Wong Zhi Yan.

I just cannot come to terms why such a kind-hearted person like her who gave so much love and care to many people has to die so young; while a selfish, tainted, corrupted and cynical person like me has reasonably good health. How can she be so good yet suffer so much from chronic illnesses? It makes no sense. Till I read about
The Four Noble Truths and Karma.

It's clear to me now where her kindness, generosity, understanding and goodness comes from: From practicing Buddhism by having Loving-Kindness and Compassion, something I never understood nor appreciated when she was alive. It's a real pity only now do I see some light. It would have been wonderful that I practice Buddhism with her when she was alive. I was too engrossed with worldly matters and desires to see this earlier.

I'll practice Buddhism and strive to follow
The Noble Eightfold Path from now onwards.

NOTE:

I initially created a memorial site for Hua Li in Geocities around Feb 2005. But Geocities shut down on 26th October, 2009. So I migrated her site over here. Thank you for visiting and your kind words & gestures. May you be well & happy.

Testimonials
Buddhistspace.com has been so helpful to me and it is a great comfort to our
family to have a way to celebrate the loss of our loved ones... Please pass along my thanks to your team. Whoever designed this service must have a great deal of compassion. When a loved one dies, you want to have a way to share their life with others. The average person does not know how to design a website. It would have been frustrating for me to try to design my own website and it wouldn't have had half the functionality that buddhistspace.com has.

Fantastic Memorial Site
